My current role and interest in the criminal justice field is the Books and Articles for now cause I’m not presently working in my field now. But the National Criminal Justice Association (NCJA) has been representing state, tribal and local governments on criminal and juvenile justice issues for more than 40 years. They advocate for effective criminal justice policy and funding for justice assistance programs aacross a broad rrange of policy issues, from local low enforcement and violence crime reduction to corrections, Victim services, drug treatment pretrial justice reform and more.
The National Justice Criminal Justice Association policy statements address major interests and concern of the organization’s membership on contemporary crime and criminal justice issues, such as fear and violence in communities, prison over-crowing, juvenile justice and the prevention of juvenile crime and delinquency, federal funding strategies, racial disparity, reentry, information sharing, ill, and evidence base programs and practices.
The National Criminal Justice Association has extensive experience in proving aassistance to federal state, local and tribal justice agencies to identify barriers and develop strategies to increase the effectiveness of criminal justice agencies and programs. They offer training and technical assistance in strategies engagement, grants management and administration, data access and information sharing. They also host events that bring together policy makers, practitioners, experts and advocates, promote programs from around the country, and engage in many legislatives issues.
