Your assignment will require you to do some research into women in the criminal justice system. You may choose from one of two topics: women in prison (inmates) or women in policing (as police officers).

First, research your topic here in the United States. You can talk about trends, statistics, history, problems, success stories, etc. of women inmates or female police officers. Then choose another country and research your topic within that country. Give an overview of women inmates or female police officers in that country. Then compare the way women inmates or police officers are utilized in each country, how they’re treated, relevant history, trends, success stories, problems, etc.

The first page of your paper will include an introduction paragraph (4-6 sentences) and your research about the US. Then the second page of the paper will include your research about another country. The third page will compare the two countries and also include a conclusion paragraph (4-6 sentences).

Your paper should be 3 pages, not including the Cover Page and References page.

Use proper APA format.

Papers should draw from at least 4 reliable research sources. Remember that you need in-text citations to give credit to your sources as well as a References page.
