Experiential Learning Project (10%).
For this project you will interview someone of your choice, working in the broadly defined area of social sustainability. The goal is to learn more about an organization and/or area of work that might be useful in your career. Possible objectives for the interview might include to:
l) learn how the person became interested in the field,
2) understand what training is needed in their job,
3) identify why the person’s organization is pursuing social sustainability strategies and what the main drivers are for doing so,
4) what performance metrics are used to measure their performance, and
- 5) what do they see as the trends in the industry and what are the skills employers are looking for in recent graduates?
You can write-up the assignment as a narrative or in a question and answer format. The write-ups should be approx. 2 pages single-spaced.
