Remember, in your final paper, you will evaluate day-to-day ethical and legal dilemmas and examine cultural, ethical, and legal norms within the health care arena, the purpose of which is to provide you with an opportunity to synthesize various influences that help define ethical and legal behavior in a health care environment.
Directions
Use the theory you selected in Assessment 1 to analyze the value dilemmas that health care providers must confront. You may integrate several theories as necessary, but the theory you selected must be the prominent one you use to guide your analysis throughout the paper.
In you have not yet done so, read the assessment description in Assessment 6 to see what you will be required to submit as your final paper. Create a rough draft of the assessment due in Assessment 6, following the Additional Requirements below. Your rough draft should include the following, integrated into a paper with an introduction and a conclusion:
- Synthesize the ethical principles and methodologies by which health care managers can understand, analyze, and resolve ethical issues.
- Analyze the concept of health care as a fundamental human need to the constraining realities of the marketplace.
- Analyze whether government should become involved in the matters of health care allocation and distribution.
- Apply ethical practice standards to the transmittal of health care information.
- Synthesize the scholarly literature for decision making in health care ethical dilemmas to develop recommendations for future applications and research areas.

Additional Requirements
- Length: Your rough draft should be 8–10 pages, typed and double-spaced, Times New Roman, 12 point (length excludes title page, abstract, table of contents, and reference list).
- References: Cite at least ten references. Your references may include both scholarly literature and practitioner sources.
- Written communication: Must be free of errors, scholarly, professional, and consistent with expectations for members of the profession of psychology.
- Writing style: APA expectations for scholarly writing includes the use of third-person narrative, unless it is awkward to do so.
- APA formatting: Must be formatted according to APA (6th edition) style and formatting and include a title page, abstract, table of contents, and reference list.
