7. The victim reported that at approximately 1:00 A.M. Sunday morning, September 28, 2014, he was riding the RTD light rail train, which stopped at the 10th & Colfax Light Rail Station. As the train stopped, Sam Green took the victim’s backpack by force from his hands and ran from the train. No weapons were involved. The defendant has acknowledged prior thoughts of suicide. He began smoking marijuana in high school and reported using cocaine and methamphetamine. The defendant is not married and has no children.
