For this assignment, you will need to choose one of the following scenarios/settings:

1. Use an actual work or school meeting
   1. Write an agenda for the meeting
   2. Take notes during the meeting and prepare meeting minutes based on your notes
2. Use a class lecture
   1. Take notes during the class lecture
   2. Write up an agenda and minutes based on the class lecture
3. If option 1 & 2 are impossible for you, then your last resort would be to create an agenda for a brown bag meeting (Links to an external site.) for a meeting with a representative of your organization- the organization you will be completing a communication audit.

Assignment Requirements:

Prepare an Agenda and a set of Meeting Minutes. Please submit one document for both assignments. If you aren’t using a real meeting, then you will need to make up any information that would be part of a normal meeting.

Your 50-points will be evaluated in the following way:

• Correctly formatted Agenda — 20 points
• Concisely yet thorough and properly formatted Minutes — 20 points
• Free of grammatical and spelling errors — 10 points (-1 point for each error)
