Because God wants us to care for our bodies, the Bible affirms, “Bodily training is of some value” (The Holy Bible, English Standard Version, 2001, 1 Timothy 4:8). Our well-being is a total physical, mental, and spiritual integration. It is a complex interaction that leads to quality of life. Wellness is commonly viewed as having dimensions.
