International Standards Organization (ISO) 9001:2008, a total quality management (TQM) control model, is a set of quality standards that has been assisting organizations to recognize and prevent mistakes while creating a plan for constant improvement. Educational institutions worldwide are implementing ISO 9001:2008 to provide a way to maintain accountability for funding. Although ISO 9001:2008 has been successful in industry and business, its use in education is relatively new with a need for further investigation. One reason for investigation is that there are other industry models of TQM that have recently been utilized by educational institutions. Select a new program within any K12, higher education, or corporate training institution.
